Response to Trump’s Presidential Pardon of Sheriff Joe Arpaio

Los Angeles, CA – Today, President Donald J. Trump issued a presidential pardon to Joe Arpaio, former Maricopa County Sheriff.

Salvador Reza  from Phoenix, Arizona issued the following statement:

“Trump’s pardon of Arpaio is an unpardonable offense against the rule of law.  The Barrio Defense Committees ask legislators to immediately start impeachment proceedings against Donald Trump.”
