National TPS Alliance Responds to Trump Administration’s Revocation of TPS for Venezuelans: “An Attack on One is an Attack on All”

An attack on one is an attack on all. While there has been talk of division among immigrants based on national origin—whether from Venezuela, Mexico, El Salvador, Haiti, or elsewhere—the simple truth is that the Trump administration seeks to remove all of us, along with our children and future generations. 

Despite top-down efforts to divide our community, we will remain united from the ground up as we confront these racially motivated attempts to deny our generation the same rights that previous waves of European immigrants were granted. 

We know how to raise our voices in self-defense and in defense of constitutional values—and that’s exactly what we will do.
