ICE’s ongoing militarized and masked assault on Latino communities violates the U.S. Constitution

Today, the court affirmed what the community always knew: ICE’s ongoing militarized and masked assault on Latino communities around Los Angeles since June 6 violates the U.S. Constitution. The court rightfully recognized that ICE’s racial profiling, targeting day laborers, car washers, farm workers, and families, is unlawful and must stop today. This is an important win for civil and immigrant rights.

In the coming days, it will be up to the people of Los Angeles—the rapid response networks, the community organizations, and the neighborhood associations—to make this win real by holding ICE accountable to the Court’s order.
