The action will highlight ongoing unsafe and unjust living conditions faced by tenants at 403 Figueroa Dr., where many residents remain exposed to potential health and environmental risks due to inadequate remediation.
WHO: DENA RISE UP, Comité 403 tenants, community advocates, and supporters
WHEN: Thursday, March 26, 2026, 6:00 PM
WHERE: In front of 403 Figueroa Dr., Altadena, CA 91001
WHY: More than a year after the Altadena fires, tenants continue to face unsafe and unjust living conditions. Many remain in buildings that have not been properly remediated, exposing them to potential health and environmental risks. Due to a lack of affordable alternatives and fear of further displacement, tenants are often forced to stay despite landlord negligence. This ongoing situation underscores the urgent need for accountability, remediation, and stronger protections to ensure tenants can live in safe and dignified housing.
