LOS ANGELES, CA — Radio Jornalera is proud to announce the release of the second edition of La Talacha, a groundbreaking community newspaper created by and for immigrant and day laborer communities in the United States. This latest edition marks a major milestone: La Talacha is now fully bilingual in English and Spanish, expanding its reach and impact across communities and language barriers.
Created in response to disinformation, systemic neglect, and the everyday challenges facing immigrant workers, La Talacha provides a powerful platform for grassroots storytelling, community journalism, and cultural resistance. The newspaper is an essential tool for organizing, education, and solidarity.
“La Talacha informs, inspires, and strengthens collective action. Making it bilingual means more people can hear these stories and join the movement,” said Manuel Vicente, Director of Radio Jornalera and La Talacha.
