“Women disproportionately suffer the impact of Arizona’s immigration policies and we’re also leading the movement to defend and expand our rights,” explains Sandra Castro of Puente Arizona. “We’re excited Ana Tijoux will perform with us in Phoenix. She’s a hero for many of us and provides an example and a soundtrack for those who nod their head to her beats and her lyrics. There’s no better way to spend Mothers’ Day than honoring the women of Maricopa County who are struggling to keep their families together. “

The concert will be 6:00pm May 13 at 1306 E. Van Buren
