Between now and Sept 30, California Gov. Gavin Newsom will decide whether to sign or veto the “No Side Jobs for ICE Act,” AB 1537 by Assembly Member Isaac Bryan.

This bill would make sure local police and sheriffs in California can’t take a 2nd job or “moonlight” as deportation

Today, I stood with @Culinary226, BAC Local 13, and @TPS_Alliance to call on the President to extend TPS for El Salvador before the Sept. 9 deadline.

These families are working, they're paying taxes, and they are key members of our communities. They deserve safety and stability.
